Implemented Accessibility Enhancements for Tree View by adding ARIA attributes to tree components, improving screen reader support and usability for users with disabilities. The change reduces barriers for accessibility, supports compliant UI across locales, and lays groundwork for future enhancements across the product. February 2026 monthly summary for thunderbird/thunderbird-l10n. This period focused on delivering localization and UX improvements through Fluent migration across mail and calendar features, enhanced pluralization, and improved user control over remote content. Key work included: migrating mail folder widgets to Fluent; added pluralization for message retrieval; and a new confirmation prompt when opening multiple messages to warn about potential performance impact; extending calendar prompts with pluralization support for attachment removals; and introducing a remote content display control variable to govern content from specified origins. September 2025: Delivered calendar localization enhancements in Thunderbird L10n by migrating calendar-related strings to Fluent and introducing display options to show/hide calendar names and to display only a single calendar. Completed the remaining Fluent migration (part 3) as part of Bug 1982630, consolidating localization assets and improving internationalization coverage and UI flexibility.

December 2024 — Localization focus: Czech Localization Quality Improvement for AMO Frontend in mozilla/addons-frontend. Corrected a Czech translation term and refreshed translation metadata (PO-Revision-Date, Last-Translator) to improve accuracy and freshness for Czech users. Committed via Pontoon workflow. Commit: 23cc5cb85826d3bac9ba2bf26aa793e1183cd670.

Month: 2024-11 – Focus on Czech localization updates for Thunderbird UI in thunderbird/thunderbird-l10n.
