Worked on the NVlabs/alpasim repository to improve system startup reliability by addressing a configuration issue that caused delays and failures during initial deployments. Focused on configuration management, the work involved removing an incorrect artifact cache override from the YAML configuration file, which previously led to startup problems in new environments. Additionally, updated the Markdown documentation to include a user-facing warning about potential startup timeouts, helping users better understand and mitigate first-run issues. Utilized skills in bug fixing, documentation, and YAML to deliver a targeted solution that reduces operational risk and enhances the stability of first-time system deployments.
