Javi developed the foundational UI and theming infrastructure for the acm-ucr/wushu-website repository, focusing on scalable front end architecture. Using CSS and TypeScript, Javi implemented a reusable example component and defined custom color themes in the global CSS, enabling consistent styling and accelerating UI prototyping. This work established a base for a scalable design system, allowing future features to adopt uniform theming with minimal code changes. By prioritizing component development and CSS theming, Javi’s contributions reduced design and development cycle times and improved visual consistency across the site. The work demonstrated depth in front end engineering and design system planning.
