Worked on the neondatabase/neon repository to enhance the compute node image by building and embedding three pgrx12 PostgreSQL extensions—rag, rag_bge_small_en_v15, and rag_jina_reranker_v1_tiny_en—directly into the Docker-based build process. This approach enabled immediate out-of-the-box support for advanced rag-based workloads, reducing runtime setup and improving deployment reliability. Leveraged skills in Docker, Rust, and build systems to automate the compilation and integration of these extensions, resulting in a self-contained image that streamlines startup and supports faster deployments. The work focused on feature delivery and build stability, with all changes tracked and integrated through commit-driven development practices.
