January 2025 focused on strengthening UTXO tagging, enhancing the tagging UX, and delivering architecture refactors to improve maintainability and scalability of the coconut_wallet app. Key functional work included end-to-end UTXO tag management across Issue #45 and #41, with review edits, tag application on the UTXO selection screen, and integration of tagging logic into the Send-Select-Utxo flow. Critical UI and correctness issues were resolved in tagging flows and QA surfaces. The month also delivered provider-based support for tagging in the vm-tag-memo layer, removal of txList to streamline data flow, and a broad set of refactors to consolidate wallet-info and screen view models. In parallel, QA and UI polish reduced friction in tag usage (bottom sheets, text overflow, emoji handling) and fixed stability issues in the QR scanner and transaction details UI. A hotfix resolved a wallet detail screen/view model conflict to ensure stable releases.
