Developed the FLM Backend Concurrency Configuration feature for the lemonade-sdk/lemonade repository, enabling tunable concurrency for the FLM backend through custom command-line and recipe arguments. Leveraging C++ for backend and CLI development, the work introduced options to configure socket connections and queue length, allowing users to optimize throughput and latency based on workload demands. The implementation included server-side logic to parse and pass arguments directly to the FLM process, supporting both default and user-specified settings. This feature-focused milestone provided a clear path for performance tuning and enhanced user control, with all changes delivered end-to-end and integrated into practical usage scenarios.
March 2026: Delivered FLM Backend Concurrency Configuration in the lemonade SDK to enable tunable concurrency for the FLM backend via custom arguments. Implemented CLI option and recipe option, and integrated server-side logic to pass arguments to the FLM process, enabling users to tune socket connections and queue length for improved throughput and latency under varying workloads. No major bugs fixed this month; feature-focused milestone with clear path for performance tuning and user control.
