Enhanced Kafka’s default settings, such as adjusting linger.ms and enforcing a minimum log segment size, to improve batch processing efficiency, lower latency, and strengthen log recovery. Emphasized integration and unit testing to ensure robust configuration changes. The technical approach aligned with KIP-1030 and KAFKA-16368, resulting in clearer operational defaults and improved maintainability for customers.
