Jayvik developed targeted firmware and emulator enhancements across Dasharo/coreboot and Zephyr4Microchip/zephyr repositories, focusing on embedded systems and hardware interfacing using C and Kconfig. For Dasharo/coreboot, Jayvik implemented support for the Fatcat_ish board variant, introducing Kconfig entries and device tree updates to unify EC host command and GPIO handling, which improved maintainability and configuration consistency. In Zephyr4Microchip/zephyr, Jayvik strengthened the GPIO emulator by adding input validation and port masking, aligning emulator behavior with hardware drivers to improve test reliability and coverage. The work demonstrated depth in configuration management and embedded firmware, addressing cross-platform compatibility and maintainability.
