Worked on CollaboraOnline/online to address build failures in environments lacking SSL support by implementing SSL-disabled build compatibility. Used C++ and build configuration expertise to introduce conditional compilation, ensuring that SSL-related code is only included when SSL is enabled. This approach resolved issues with the --disable-ssl flag, allowing the application to build successfully across diverse platforms. The work enhanced cross-platform development and improved CI reliability for non-SSL configurations. Demonstrated proficiency with C/C++ preprocessor directives and patch management, focusing on stability and deployment readiness rather than feature development, and contributed to more robust and portable build processes within the repository.
