During November 2024, JBolling enhanced the nebari-dev/nebari repository by improving the documentation of AWS security group rules. Focusing on infrastructure as code practices, JBolling used Terraform and HCL to add descriptive comments that clarify all ports and protocols are allowed for both ingress and egress traffic. This update addressed potential confusion around network access configurations, helping users and developers better understand and maintain the system. While no bugs were fixed during this period, the work emphasized clarity, maintainability, and traceability in AWS networking.
