During the month, contributed to the Codecademy/gamut repository by expanding the Vendor Icons Library, adding ten new SVG icons representing major technology vendors such as Apple, Google, and Meta. This work involved integrating scalable vector graphics into the existing component library and centralizing their registration within the icons constants file using JavaScript and TypeScript. The approach streamlined icon management, enabling consistent branding and more efficient frontend development. By consolidating all changes into a single, traceable commit, the update improved maintainability and provided a reusable resource for UI teams, supporting faster development cycles and easier updates to the iconography set.
