Worked on the Tencent/AI-Infra-Guard repository to deliver robust chat streaming enhancements focused on improving reliability and user experience. Developed backend features in Python, emphasizing defensive parsing of non-text chunks and validation of streaming responses to ensure all required fields were present before yielding data. This approach reduced the risk of crashes and prevented malformed data from reaching clients, strengthening the stability of core chat features. Leveraged skills in API integration and backend development to implement type checks for streaming chunks, resulting in safer data handling and more resilient chat streaming functionality throughout the system during the month’s development cycle.
