In January 2025, Jeanpiero Zea enhanced user management and security for the Santa-TeresaERP/ST-backend and ST-frontend repositories. He developed role-based access control middleware and a password change endpoint using Node.js and Express.js, strengthening backend authorization. On the frontend, he implemented a Change Password feature and confirmation modals with React and TypeScript, improving user experience and data safety. By introducing soft-delete functionality for user accounts, he preserved historical data while preventing unauthorized access. Jeanpiero’s work focused on cross-stack improvements, integrating API development, UI/UX design, and database management to deliver safer, more robust user workflows without introducing new bugs.
