Worked on the oat-sa/extension-tao-testqti repository to address a critical issue affecting item session state management in multi-item assessment flows. Delivered a targeted JavaScript bug fix that ensures each item reference receives a unique itemSessionControl instance, effectively isolating state and preventing cross-item leakage. This approach improved the reliability of item rendering and reduced flaky behavior during assessments. Demonstrated strong front end development skills by implementing a clean, well-documented solution that supports easier maintenance and collaboration.
