Jeff Mahoney enhanced the prebid/prebid-server-java repository by enabling the Sharethrough bidding adapter to support the OpenRTB 2.6 protocol, aligning the integration with the latest industry standards. He updated the adapter’s YAML configuration to declare oRTB 2.6 compatibility, allowing deployments to leverage new protocol features and improve interoperability with demand partners. This work required a strong understanding of bidder integration, protocol compliance, and configuration management. Although the contribution was focused on a single feature over one month, Jeff demonstrated proficiency in Java-based adapter development and YAML, delivering a targeted update that expands the repository’s protocol support for open exchange environments.
