Jeff Mahoney enhanced the prebid/prebid-server-java repository by enabling the Sharethrough bidding adapter to support the OpenRTB 2.6 protocol. He updated the adapter’s YAML configuration to declare compatibility with the latest oRTB standard, allowing deployments to leverage new protocol features and maintain compliance with evolving industry requirements. This work required a strong understanding of bidder integration and protocol specifications, as well as proficiency in Java and YAML. By aligning the adapter with oRTB 2.6, Jeff improved interoperability with demand partners and positioned the codebase for future enhancements, demonstrating focused engineering depth within a targeted, standards-driven feature update.
