During July 2025, Jellis enhanced the palantir/conjure-rust repository by implementing double-precision JSON serialization and deserialization, addressing the challenge of maintaining numeric data integrity during data interchange. Using Rust and leveraging serialization techniques, Jellis ensured accurate round-trip conversion for double values, reducing the risk of data loss in future updates. To validate this improvement, a dedicated regression test was added, reinforcing reliability in the codebase. Additionally, Jellis performed a comprehensive code formatting cleanup across the repository, improving consistency and maintainability. The work demonstrated attention to detail in both functional enhancements and code quality, utilizing skills in Rust, JSON, and testing.
