Developed two connectivity-focused features for the Samsung/TizenRT repository, targeting BK7239N-based devices. Leveraging C programming and embedded systems expertise, introduced enhanced connection diagnostics by adding detailed disconnection reason reporting for SoftAP clients and granular WPA state tracking during WiFi join operations. Improved operational reliability in non-concurrent mode by aligning both STA and SoftAP roles to a single wlan0 interface, simplifying configuration and reducing troubleshooting complexity. Integrated changes across the WiFi stack, including wpa_supplicant and adapter routing, to ensure accurate state reporting and interface handling. These updates improved diagnosability and reduced resolution time for network issues in embedded environments.
April 2026: Delivered two key features for Samsung/TizenRT that improve connectivity diagnostics, WPA state visibility, and operational reliability in non-concurrent mode. Implemented enhanced SoftAP/disconnection reporting and granular WPA state tracking; aligned interface usage to a single wlan0 in non-concurrent deployments, simplifying configuration and boosting stability. These changes improve diagnosability, reduce mean time to resolution for connectivity issues, and enable smoother user experiences on BK7239N-based devices.
