
Developed end-to-end Clojure language support for the Automattic/harper repository, enabling seamless parsing and handling of Clojure code within the project. This work involved updating the build system and dependencies in Cargo.toml, refining the parser to accommodate Clojure’s syntax, and adjusting comment parsing logic to ensure accurate code interpretation. Comprehensive automated tests were added to validate Clojure parsing and cover edge cases, strengthening reliability. Leveraging skills in Rust development, language parsing, and CI/CD, the implementation expanded Harper’s language coverage and reduced integration friction for Clojure users, enhancing the tool’s applicability for enterprise workflows without introducing new bugs during the process.
