Worked on the videolan/vlc-ios repository to deliver enhanced subtitle format support for VLC iOS, focusing on expanding compatibility and improving the playback user experience. Implemented a feature that enables the file picker to open all supported subtitle formats, rather than being limited to srt files, thereby reducing user friction and supporting a wider range of media content. The work was completed using Swift and iOS development best practices, with attention to maintaining performance and stability. No major bugs were reported during this period, reflecting a focused approach to feature delivery and careful integration of media playback enhancements into the existing codebase.
