During this period, contributed a new customization feature to the sst/opentui repository by implementing a highlighting callback API for the CodeRenderable component. This work introduced a mechanism that allows users to define custom inline highlight styles and behaviors, enabling dynamic syntax highlighting without altering the core rendering logic. The approach focused on isolating styling concerns behind a callback, which improved the component’s flexibility and maintainability for client integrations. The feature was developed using React and TypeScript, leveraging front end development best practices to enhance extensibility and support more adaptable code rendering experiences for downstream consumers of the library.
