Worked on governance and configuration maintenance across Azure/ARO-RP and openshift/cincinnati-graph-data repositories, focusing on improving code ownership clarity. Delivered targeted updates to CODEOWNERS and OWNERS_ALIASES files, removing personal ownership entries to streamline repository governance and reduce ambiguity in pull request assignments. These changes, implemented using Git and YAML, did not alter runtime functionality but enhanced maintainability and accelerated onboarding for new contributors. The approach emphasized traceability and documentation, supporting future automation of ownership reviews. By prioritizing repository hygiene and clear ownership mapping, the work contributed to more efficient code review processes and reduced delays in contributor approval workflows.
