During February 2025, JG contributed to the EspressoSystems/nitro-espresso-integration repository by consolidating and clarifying the end-to-end testing workflow and build prerequisites in the project’s documentation. Focusing on developer onboarding, JG restructured the README to include MacOS-specific steps for building WASM components and detailed environment setup, while also enforcing the requirement of a running Docker daemon for consistent E2E test execution. Using Bash, Go, and Markdown, JG corrected the sequencing of build and test steps to minimize setup errors and confusion. The work demonstrated a methodical approach to CI/CD, documentation, and testing, resulting in clearer workflows for new contributors.
