Worked on the dotnet/aspire repository to enhance log retrieval workflows for MCP tooling, focusing on improving observability and reliability. Developed a feature in C# that enabled GetResourceLogsAsync to support both logical and resolved resource instance names, allowing users to retrieve logs more flexibly and reducing the risk of missing logs tied to specific instances. Applied asynchronous programming techniques and optimized resource lookup by adding a fallback path, aligning log retrieval with existing resource snapshot logic. Demonstrated skills in back end development and unit testing, ultimately improving log accessibility and streamlining troubleshooting for operators and developers working with Aspire resources.
