Worked on the sul-dlss/mylibrary repository to deliver an enhanced Cybersource payment account association feature for FOLIO accounts. Focused on backend development and API integration, the solution introduced multi-field mapping for payment account IDs using merchant_defined_data fields, allowing for more robust and scalable association of payments with individual FOLIO accounts. By splitting truncated account IDs across five fields, the implementation increased the number of payments that could be mapped per transaction and improved data completeness for reporting. The work was carried out using Ruby and HTML, with an emphasis on reliable data handling and maintainable integration with external payment systems.
