Worked on enhancing the reliability of asset event retrieval in the gopidesupavan/airflow repository by addressing a bug related to alias-based lookups. Focused on backend development and API integration, the work involved updating the AssetEventOperations.get method to correctly pass the alias_name parameter to the API, enabling asset events to be retrieved by alias. Regression tests were added using Python and Jinja to ensure ongoing support for this functionality and to prevent future regressions. All changes were validated through continuous integration and comprehensive testing, resulting in improved maintainability and test coverage for asset event operations within the codebase.
