The work included organizing the project structure and configuring build settings using Java and XML, which streamlined local setup and enabled immediate project runs. By prioritizing automation and consistency, the developer ensured that the project is well-positioned for scalable development and easier onboarding, although the scope was limited to initial build system setup.
