During July 2025, Jiande Lu focused on enhancing Bluetooth reliability and system stability across embedded Linux platforms. Working in the NVIDIA/linux-firmware repository, Jiande updated the MT7921 Bluetooth firmware by replacing the binary file and revising version metadata, ensuring devices received the latest, most compatible firmware. In the geerlingguy/linux repository, Jiande addressed a kernel-level shutdown issue by modifying the wait_on_bit_timeout behavior, preventing premature Bluetooth shutdown interruptions and improving module stability. Leveraging expertise in C, binary formats, and kernel development, Jiande delivered targeted firmware and driver improvements that reduced user-facing Bluetooth issues and strengthened overall hardware support within the platform.
