Worked on enhancing Kubernetes task reliability and namespace management within the apache/dolphinscheduler repository. Developed a useNamespace hook that enables users to select specific Kubernetes namespaces for their tasks, addressing a previous gap in multi-tenant environments. Adjusted the isSimple parameter handling to ensure compatibility with the new namespace selection flow, thereby reducing misconfigurations and improving user control over task execution. Focused on frontend development using Vue.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript to implement these changes. The work improved reliability and tenant isolation for Kubernetes workflows, providing a more robust and user-friendly experience for managing tasks in complex deployment scenarios.
