Over a two-month period, contributed to expanding multi-provider AI support in the openai-python and openai-node repositories by integrating Amazon Bedrock services. Developed reusable provider integration patterns and implemented the BedrockOpenAI client, enabling seamless interactions with Amazon Bedrock’s OpenAI-compatible API. Leveraged Python, TypeScript, and AWS integration skills to configure authentication, endpoints, and CI/CD workflows, streamlining development and testing processes. Enhanced repository structure to isolate Bedrock features, improving maintainability and laying the groundwork for future enhancements. Focused on containerization and DevOps practices, the work accelerated onboarding for Bedrock users and reduced friction for customers adopting new cloud AI providers.
