Worked on enhancing Unicode text rendering in the AvaloniaUI/Avalonia repository by implementing Unicode word segmentation and adding word-break support for ellipses. Addressed the upgrade to Unicode version 17 by regenerating text-formatting data and resolving issues that arose from the transition, resulting in improved text layout fidelity throughout the UI framework. Collaborated closely with other contributors to ensure the changes integrated smoothly with existing systems. Utilized C# for development, focusing on Unicode handling and advanced text formatting techniques. The work deepened the platform’s support for modern Unicode standards, improving the accuracy and reliability of text rendering in Avalonia UI applications.
