Worked on the jenkinsci/github-branch-source-plugin repository to improve branch management and release processes. Focused on synchronizing the log-ignored-branches integration branch with master by merging recent updates, which reduced integration drift and stabilized the development baseline. This approach enhanced the reliability of continuous integration pipelines and ensured that ongoing work remained compatible with the latest changes. Utilized Java and Git to implement the branch synchronization, supporting plugin development workflows and maintaining consistency across development and release branches. The work contributed to more predictable CI test results and improved readiness for future releases, emphasizing stability and alignment within the repository’s workflow.
