Worked on the IBM/universal-connectors repository to address a critical issue affecting Azure SQL connectivity by fixing the broken download link for the mssql-jdbc-7.4.1.jre8 driver. The solution involved updating the Maven repository reference, ensuring users could reliably obtain the JDBC driver and restoring end-user download capability. This work was delivered through a series of Git-based commits, following the GRD-104116 workflow for traceability and patch management. Demonstrated skills in Java, Maven repository configuration, and documentation, the changes reduced onboarding friction for Azure SQL users and helped decrease related support tickets by improving the reliability of database connectivity resources.
