During a two-month period, JC Cao contributed to the ente-io/ente repository by enhancing the product’s UI branding and consistency through custom icon development. He designed and integrated new Computershare and TorBox icons, centralizing these assets within a JSON-based data structure to streamline front end asset management. JC further refined the icons by implementing fill-based color styles using CSS, aligning with the design system and improving visual consistency across the interface. His work focused on UI design and front end development, addressing rendering issues and supporting maintainability. The scope was targeted, with two features delivered and no bugs reported or fixed.
