Worked on the datahub-project/datahub repository to deliver an enhancement for PostgreSQL stored procedure lineage extraction. Focused on extracting only the SQL body and normalizing the language field to uppercase, this update improved the accuracy and consistency of lineage tracking within the ingestion pipeline. Leveraging Python and SQL, the work strengthened data governance by reducing the need for post-ingestion corrections and ensuring more reliable traceability of critical data assets. Demonstrated expertise in ETL processes, database management, and data engineering by collaborating on a cross-team pull request, ultimately enhancing the fidelity of data lineage propagation across the platform’s PostgreSQL assets.
