In November 2025, Jinotesauro enhanced the DefectDojo/django-DefectDojo repository by extending the Qualys XML parser to automatically extract and attach CVE identifiers to vulnerability findings. This Python-based backend feature focused on XML handling and data parsing, enabling direct linkage between Qualys findings and their associated CVEs. The update improved traceability and streamlined remediation planning for users by making risk reporting more actionable. Jinotesauro delivered the change as a focused, review-friendly commit, demonstrating attention to code quality and maintainability. While no bugs were addressed during this period, the work reflected depth in backend development and careful integration with existing workflows.
