Worked on security hardening and maintenance for RedHatInsights/vuln4shift-frontend and RedHatInsights/registration-assistant, focusing on dependency management and vulnerability remediation. Addressed Snyk-reported issues by upgrading the @patternfly/react-icons package, ensuring frontend stability and UI consistency while mitigating security risks. Applied a targeted security patch to Axios dependencies, updating package.json and package-lock.json to align with vulnerability advisories and maintain CI compatibility. Utilized JavaScript, TypeScript, and JSON to implement these changes, emphasizing proactive security practices and maintainability. No new features were released during this period, as the work centered on infrastructure-level improvements to reduce risk and streamline future remediation efforts.
