Developed and delivered Google Secret Manager integration for the tnb-software/TNB repository, focusing on enhancing security for the system-x service. The work involved designing and implementing Java classes to create, delete, add versions, access, and list secrets, enabling secure storage and retrieval of sensitive information. By replacing hard-coded credentials with centralized secret management, the solution reduced security risks and improved auditability. Leveraging Java, Google Cloud Secret Manager API, and cloud services, the implementation established a foundation for automated secret rotation and centralized access controls. The approach aligned with security best practices and addressed the full secret lifecycle without introducing new bugs.
