Developed an automated custom domain registration and DNS verification feature for the is-a-dev/register repository, streamlining the process of provisioning user domains on Vercel. The solution programmatically registers domains, such as jithendramouli.is-a-dev, and configures required CNAME and TXT records to enable reliable DNS ownership verification before domain activation. By integrating DNS verification directly into the deployment workflow, the work reduces manual intervention and accelerates onboarding for custom domain deployments. The implementation leveraged skills in DNS configuration, Vercel deployment, and domain management, with JSON used for configuration and data handling. No bugs were reported or fixed during this development period.
