During the month, work centered on improving the developer experience and repository hygiene for the jd-opensource/xllm project. The primary focus was a critical cleanup of development dependencies, specifically removing the unstable Triton package from the development requirements. This change, implemented using Python and leveraging skills in dependency management and packaging, addressed issues that previously caused unreliable onboarding and continuous integration runs. By streamlining the local development environment, the update reduced setup time and improved reproducibility for contributors. No new user-facing features were shipped, but the groundwork laid enables faster iteration and more stable development in future sprints.
