During February 2026, JKonSir focused on enhancing the reliability of partition recovery validation within the apache/ignite-3 repository. By restoring previously disabled test coverage, JKonSir ensured that partition reset scenarios were thoroughly validated in continuous integration workflows. This work involved removing disabled JUnit test annotations, allowing automated tests to execute and catch potential regressions in partition assignment logic. Utilizing Java and testing frameworks, JKonSir’s efforts reduced the risk of undetected issues reaching production and improved the accuracy of recovery logic feedback. The depth of this contribution lay in reinforcing end-to-end validation, directly supporting the stability and correctness of ignite-3.
