Worked on security hardening and test infrastructure improvements across two open-source projects. For tschneidereit/wasm-micro-runtime, implemented cross-architecture stack non-executable (NX) markers in Assembly and C++ to mitigate stack-based exploits, ensuring consistent security posture while maintaining performance through architecture-specific optimizations. In FRRouting/frr, stabilized the test infrastructure by updating test scripts to use absolute source directory paths and resolving compilation issues with C++23 and Abseil headers, enhancing CI reliability and reducing flaky test failures. Demonstrated expertise in low-level programming, system security, and build automation, with a focus on maintainable solutions that improve both security and development workflows.
