The work enhances maintainability and sets groundwork for broader i18n milestones in Thunderbird’s onboarding.

February 2026 monthly summary for thunderbird/thunderbird-l10n: Delivered localization enhancements for calendar image priority statuses and initiated the migration to the correct image priority format. Localization updates improve UI clarity, consistency across locales, and set the foundation for ongoing QA and rollout. This work increases user understanding of image priority indicators in the calendar and aligns with localization standards, delivering measurable business value through a clearer UI and reduced localization gaps.

December 2024: Delivered a comprehensive Spanish (Spain) localization overhaul for Mozilla.org in mozilla-l10n/www-l10n. The scope covered banner text, brand names, footer, promotional phrases, AI project terms, accessibility strings, and page structure for home-m24 and about-m24, including a new home page localization file. Four Pontoon-based localization commits updated es-ES content to align with current Mozilla.org structure, reducing localization drift and improving consistency. This work directly enhances ES-ES user experience and supports Mozilla’s global accessibility and brand integrity.

In November 2024, delivered a focused Spanish (Spain) localization update for Mozilla.org within the mozilla-l10n/www-l10n repository. The update improves accuracy and completeness of es-ES translations across site navigation, VPN pricing sections, and new terms for About us and Get involved, including an explicit currency-conversion note to clarify transactions.
