During a two-month period, Jing Liu focused on improving developer experience and governance across the napari/docs and napari/napari repositories. In napari/docs, Jing refined documentation around provider annotations and dependency injection, clarifying how type annotations are handled within the application model to support maintainability and onboarding. This work, implemented using Markdown and YAML, enhanced readability and guidance for contributors working with napari’s dependency injection system. In napari/napari, Jing updated the CODEOWNERS file to reflect current team responsibilities, streamlining review workflows and clarifying ownership boundaries. The work demonstrated depth in documentation, code ownership management, and process improvement without introducing functional changes.
