During a two-month engagement, JM contributed to the SourceMation/charts repository by enhancing the Jenkins Helm chart deployment process and improving documentation. JM addressed deployment reliability by fixing the Helm chart deployment path, renaming directories, and refining installation commands, which reduced configuration drift and simplified CI/CD upgrade workflows. In the following month, JM focused on security by documenting image copy practices and updating user-facing READMEs to clarify image availability and protection measures. The work leveraged skills in Helm, CI/CD, and documentation, using Shell and Markdown to deliver targeted improvements. JM’s contributions were focused, addressing specific deployment and security documentation needs.
