In January 2026, Josip Margeta enhanced the basecamp/omarchy repository by implementing legacy NVIDIA driver installation support for MX-series GPUs, addressing compatibility and performance issues for users with older hardware. He focused on Linux package management and driver installation, integrating legacy driver workflows into the system installer using bash scripting. This work expanded hardware support, allowing MXxx, MX2xx, and MX3xx devices to operate reliably with appropriate drivers.
