Worked on the transcend-io/privacy-types repository to deliver an API enhancement supporting age-gating and richer user preference handling. Developed and documented an optional birthDate field within PreferenceUpdateItem, enabling downstream systems to enforce age-based logic and improve preference flows. The implementation included clear documentation on ISO 8601 date formats and guidance on enforcement, ensuring maintainability and ease of integration. Leveraged TypeScript and JavaScript for full stack API development, aligning the changes with Phase 1 integration requirements for the main repository. The work focused on foundational feature delivery and documentation improvements, with no major bug fixes during this period, emphasizing groundwork for future enhancements.
