March 2026 monthly wrap-up for open-telemetry/opentelemetry-go: Key feature delivered was the Documentation Update: Upgrading to New Semantic Conventions. This work provides a complete upgrade workflow, including guidance for generating new semantic convention packages, updating imports across the codebase, and adjusting the opentelemetry-go-contrib linter configuration.
