This feature, implemented using Django and HTML, streamlined the process for eligible users to update their email addresses directly, reducing administrative intervention. The development involved correcting the template display logic to ensure the button appeared only for the appropriate user group, addressing a previous issue where access was unintentionally hidden. The work demonstrated attention to user needs, clear communication through well-documented commits, and effective collaboration with other contributors, focusing on front end development and usability.
