During May 2025, Yumyoggy focused on enhancing the Expensify/react-native-live-markdown repository by addressing a nuanced UI/UX issue in the MarkdownTextInput component. Using CSS and React, Yumyoggy resolved a bug that previously caused multiline links to render incorrectly, ensuring that link text now wraps and aligns properly in both single-line and multiline modes. The solution involved refining white-space handling and vertical alignment through targeted CSS adjustments, which improved the stability and consistency of the live markdown editor. This work, implemented in TypeScript, contributed to a smoother user experience and provided clear documentation for future maintenance and issue tracking.
